Sonja Zmerli
Principal investigator and coordinator of the project. She is a professor of political science at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA. She teaches political behavior, social science methods and political psychology. Her research interests include social and political trust, democracy, and the politicization of inequalities (she is responsible for the ERC Consolidator Grant 2019 “POLINEQUAL”.
Kevin Brookes
Project co-coordinator. He is a post-doctoral fellow at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA. His research focuses on the relationship of citizens to economic and political liberalism, neo-liberalism and the divide between rural and urban residents.co-
Michael Webb
Michael Webb is a post-doctoral fellow at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA. He joined the RUDE team while finalizing his PhD at the University of Florida. His dissertation focuses on the role that context plays in shaping support for populism, but his broader research agenda seeks to highlight the importance of context in political behavior generally. This work is intersectional in its orientation and emphasizes the use of multi-dimensional interaction terms and multilevel models to capture heterogeneous effects.

Frédéric Gonthier
Scientific member of the project. He is Professor of Political Science at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA. He teaches social science methods and particularly survey techniques. His research focuses on citizens’ attitudes towards the economy and the welfare state, as well as on the “Yellow Vests”. He is co-leader of an ANR project on the subject.
Bartolomeo Cappellina
Associate researcher. He is a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre Émile Durkheim (Sciences Po Bordeaux). His research focuses on the relationship of citizens to justice and the production of European law.

Blaise Mouton
Student research assistant. He is a master’s degree student at Sciences Po Grenoble – UGA. He studies political science in a master’s programme preparing for research and teaching.
